Upgrade Information

Download a copy of the manual prior to installing the upgrade. Follow the steps outlined in the product manual (Users Guide) to upgrade.

Before upgrading, make a backup of your data files.

If you own a Palm OS® handheld:

Handheld data files are located in C:\Palm\XXX\Backup, where XXX is a directory named after your handheld's HotSync® user name. This directory is created by the Palm desktop software on the initial synchronization with your handheld device. Copy the following two files to storage media: DEA-AppDB.pdb and DEA-FoodDB.pdb.

Desktop data files are located in C:\Palm\XXX\DietAssistant, where XXX is a directory named after your handheld's HotSync® user name. This directory is created by the Palm desktop software on the initial synchronization with your handheld device. Copy the following two files to storage media: UserDB.ddb and FoodDB.ddb.

If you own a Pocket PC® handheld:

Handheld data files are located in MobileDevice\Program Files\Keyoe\Diet & Exercise Assistant\Users\Keyoe. Copy the following two files to storage media: UserDB.ddb and FoodDB.ddb.

Desktop data files are located in C:\Program Files\Keyoe\Diet & Exercise Assistant\Desktop\Users\XXX\DietAssistant, where XXX is a directory named after your desktop user name. Copy the following two files to storage media: UserDB.ddb and FoodDB.ddb.
